Josh is a co-founder at BoxOne Ventures. His journey in the tech industry began as cofounder of Vigilant Global, a low-latency, high-frequency trading firm, which he sold to DRW in 2013. Leveraging his experience as a partner at DRW, Josh, alongside Arv, established BoxOne Ventures to explore and invest in the ideas and technologies that they believe are most likely to have the largest impact on the future. His passion for technology and markets inspired him to found Nascent, a sister firm of BoxOne Ventures, dedicated to trading and investment in the cryptocurrency space.

Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics from Western University. His efforts in life sciences are channeled though BoxOne’s bio investing as well as his philanthropic efforts in neuroscience research. Josh is married with four children and is in continuing negotiation with his wife to add a dog.
